A requirements study is completed
to define the customer's requirements and a requirement
report is generated. The communication media with
the client would be through telecom, email and/or
a personal interaction. The requirement definition
report is forwarded to the client for approval.
The requirements document would define the proposed
web-site's functionality, target users, user-interface,
aesthetic "look & feel", media and
technological boundaries.
The client organization would
be responsible for providing the content for the
design and development of the proposed web-site.
An analysis of this content would be required to
understand its purpose in fulfilling strategic Internet
objectives. The client organization's presence on
the World Wide Web would be planned accordingly.
Tripmedia could offer suggestions in providing new
material and/or formatting content that would effectively
complement an innovative web design for the client
organization.
The design would be conceptualized
following the accord of the client on requirements
and content. The design concept would effectively
mirror the customer's requirements and would aim
to realize the purpose of the site in terms of the
needs, expectations of prospective target users.
The interface design would
be consistent with the client organization's requirements,
the functionality enabled on the web site, and would
offer a desirable front end presentation interface
as outlined in the requirements document.
A prototype design based
on client user requirements would be created and
demonstrated to the client over the Internet for
critique and approval. The prototype would constitute
a representation of the user interface and navigation
within the application. On the client organization's
accord, the following stages of the project would
be realized to provide a complete working model
of the application.
This marks the development
of media assets such as graphics, animation (if
required), still images, text format etc. Content
material such as photographs; pictures would then
be converted to Internet format.
At this stage the various
media assets would be integrated & authored
contingent on the design criteria, navigation and
capabilities of the host server.
Testing of the application
would commence following the integration of its
various parts to provide the complete functionality
outlined in the requirements specifications and
design criteria. Testing procedures are consistent
with the test plan. The acceptance of the final
test results would ensure that the application is
bug-free, operationally accurate and visually on
target. This stage would also constitute the final
evaluation that the integrated application fulfills
the criteria that has, at the outset, been outlined
by the client organization.
The application/web-site
is deployed following the multiple tests to confirm
its functionality. At this stage, the Intellectual
Property Rights (IPR) are handed over to the client
organization.
Maintenance activities are
conducted as per the maintenance plan if the same
is specified in the contract.
